It was close to five pm on a Thursday and though we were promised a rainless evening, it hadn't stopped raining! Mark and me were sitting there going over the recent football rankings, waiting for the next telephone call that day to come in. Inevitably we had the phone call from a young lady on a business expedition who had gone to the Esso petrol station in Aspley Guise and put petrol in her diesel Citroen rental by mistake. The unfortunate lady was very affected it seemed, saying "I can not believe I have messed up the car! I am just so used to filling up my petrol car I completely did not remember that I was operating a diesel!" I instructed her to settle back and not to worry, plus that such things unfortunately can happen. She was able to get the vehicle into a secure area and, since it was no more than a short distance off from us, we were able to find the woman rather quickly. The contaminated fuel was taken out so she could get back to the motel she was living in. Despite the fact that we got really wet, it was all rewarding seeing her drive off calm and not so apprehensive. Another misfuel correction in Bedfordshire well done in my books!

Services We Provide:
Here's a list of the wrong fuel services we give.
Tank with incorrect fuel - You may not like petrol in your diesel tank but accidents occur. You will see some changes in the performance of your car like spluttering and stalling. An abnormal volume of smoke can be noticed in the exhaust. Other issues may start to show if this wrong fuel is not given fast action.
Tank with water - Water in the tank should be taken out of the fuel system by fully flashing it out or else you will see problems such as jolting, spluttering or revving up. That?s including the rust in the engine that will be accumulated if taken for granted. Potential causes include the containers like jerry cans that were used in filling up the engine tank. It?s possible that the cans were not completely emptied when you used it in filling car?s tank.
AdBlue in the Fuel Tank - Intentionally done or made by mistake, we can help you fix your engine contaminated with AdBlue. Car owners do not have sufficient understanding about AdBlue. That's the reason why they are in this problem now. Contrary to what many have said that it is an additive, the reality is AdBlue is a liquid that helps reducethe emission of harmful smoke in your exhaust and this must have a separate tank. A lot of people have been victims of this false belief and we have resolved them easily.
Red diesel added to your tank - Per AA, there are about 1500 garages that sell red diesel. However, there are not too many outlets of this red diesel, still, accident happens. Red diesel may come into your tank suddenly. You may not observe that you've got your tank filled with red diesel as you don?t have the full attention to what you're filling.
Old and stale fuel - Tank with old fuel in it has to be flushed out for the vehicle to run smoothly. You can perhaps start the engine but running it is another story. This takes place as the quality of fuel has degraded over time. We excel in this kind of job too. Give this job to us and will do the rest.

Just had a quality night of sleep! It was 7:30 am on a bright Tuesday and I was on the way to assist an older lovely lady who put petrol in her diesel Nissan in Aspley Guise. She informed us that she drove away from the petrol station forecourt and pulled up on a rural lane on the way to see her grandchildren. I popped the location in the TomTom and was on-scene in less than an hour or so. I reached the location and removed the contaminated fuel out of the car. While I was doing the drain she said, "I am becoming relatively forgetful in my old age and did not remember about the car taking diesel seeing that I had just acquired it a week ago right after my previous one, which I had used for more than 25 years, finally died". I completed the drain and she gave me a peppermint and said thanks. What a delightful Bedfordshire woman!
