It was about ten pm on a Tuesday and although we were promised a rainless day, it hadn't stopped raining! Mark and I were relaxing there talking about the recent football, at the ready for the sixth job to arrive. Eventually we had the phone call from a woman on a business trip who had arrived at the Texaco petrol station in Chester and filled the wrong fuel in a diesel Volvo lease car. She was somewhat troubled apparently, crying "I simply can't believe I have destroyed the vehicle! I'm so familiar with filling up my petrol car that I completely didn't remember that I was driving a diesel!" I just instructed her to settle back and not to fret, plus that such things unfortunately often happen. She had managed to get the car to a protected space and, seeing as it was just a few miles away from the office, we could reach the customer quickly. The wrong fuel was removed and she could return to the hotel she was lodging at. Although we got thoroughly wet, it was all worth the time seeing her drive away relaxed and not so worried. Another misfuel correction in Cheshire well done in my mind!

Wrong Fuel Drain Chester - Chester Fuel Rescue
I'd had a great evening fishing during my afternoon off and felt contented with myself the next morning as I set out to help a new family on vacation in Chester. They'd conked out after adding the wrong fuel in their Volkswagen, and the car was about half an hour's travel away. I got there at their car and laughed as I listened to the gal berating her husband for turning out to be so daft. "Exactly how could you actually find a way to fill the car up using the wrong fuel?" she asked him. I attempted to tell her that this happens everyday in Cheshire and that it's in reality nothing at all to be anxious about, but he still had an ear bashing. Unlucky lad. At any rate, I cleaned up and removed the polluted fuel, flushed the motor and gave them some correct fuel. While watching them drive off I shouted goodbye and considered what her indoors would do to me in the event that I made the very same error... I'd personally never ever live it down!

Wrong Fuel Drain Chester - Chester Wrong Fuel Doctor
This was exactly what we call an unsociable time to be awake. It was around 2:30am and noone was stirring. It had been quite uneventful so far, and me and Ryan were sitting looking at a few old papers. That was an uncommon peaceful moment in Cheshire. Actually it was so quiet that the instant my mobile inevitably rang I jumped! The person on the opposite end said: "I completed my evening shift and incredibly put the wrong fuel in my diesel Mazda in error". We asked him to tell us where exactly he was and we headed out, reaching him in Chester no more than an hour later. The contaminated fuel was removed from the car and he said thanks for getting there so fast. As we were going back to the office we noticed two women at the side of the street who seemed to have a flat. Accordingly we got out to help them change it, much to their delight.
