It was about 9 pm on a Monday and even though we were promised a dry evening, it hadn't given up on raining! Mark and me were seated talking about the recent tennis results, at the ready for the sixth fuel drain of the day to come in. Finally we received a phone call from a lovely women on a business excursion who had pulled into the BP filling station in Quarrington Hill and put the wrong fuel in a diesel Mercedes lease car. She was somewhat agitated apparently, crying "I can not believe that I have messed up the car! I am so used to filling up my petrol car I completely forgot I was using a diesel!" We advised her to settle back and not to be concerned, also that things like this sadly do happen. She had managed to get the vehicle into a secure space and, as it was no more than a few minutes off from where we were, we could reach the woman swiftly. The bad fuel was taken out so she could once again go back to the motel she was residing at. Even though we got extremely wet, it was all rewarding to see her drive off contented and a lot less concerned. A fuel drain in County Durham well done in my opinion!

Wrong Fuel in your Tank - Your diesel engine filled with petrol is more challenging compared to a petrol tank filled with diesel. Engine may begin to cough and may stall. A good deal of smoke may be discovered too. But no matter what it is, we're prepared to get you going again.
Tank filled with water - Water can contaminate your engine and it must be taken out of the fuel system to avoid damages and rust in your engine. When you accelerate hard your engine, it may begin to rev up and jolt. Contamination like this is not only common in boats. This can happen to the car too because of the jerry cans that were previously utilized as a water container then later used as fuel container where water was not totally emptied.
AdBlue in your tank - Like the wrong fuel in the wrong place, people tend to add AdBlue to their engine. Most of them misunderstand the purpose of AdBlue. It should go in a special compartment around the engine, and not the engine itself. It minimizes emissions. AdBlue contamination numbers are rising steadily. In case you experience that problem, let's take care of it for you.
Red Diesel Contamination - Mostly this takes place due to accident. It can easily take place if you are distracted or exhausted, from a filling pump or jerry can, and it's no surprise when the AA says as many as 1500 UK garages sell red diesel. Should this happen to you unexpectedly, just contact us and we'll do the job for you.
Old or degraded fuel - Tank with old fuel in it has to be flushed out in order for the vehicle to run smoothly. You can probably start the engine but running it is another story. This takes place because the quality of fuel has degraded over time. We excel in this kind of job too. Give this work to us and will do the rest.
Wrong Fuel Assist Quarrington Hill - Quarrington Hill Vehicle Misfuel
I had enjoyed a terrific evening cycling on the weekend and felt pleased with myself the next day as I set off to help a young family on vacation in Quarrington Hill. They'd conked out after filling diesel in their Jaguar, and the car was roughly an hour's travel away. I arrived at their location and smiled as I listened to the lady berating her spouse for actually being so silly. "Just how could you possibly manage to put the wrong fuel in the vehicle?" she said to him. I wanted to explain that this occurs on daily basis in County Durham and that it's nothing at all to worry about, but he all the same got an earful. Unfortunate lad. Anyways, I cleaned up and removed all the wrong fuel, flushed the motor and gave it some appropriate fuel. While they drove off I shouted bon voyage and considered what my missus would say to me if I made the very same error... I'd never live it down!

Recent Fuel Drains in Quarrington Hill
Several stories:
Now I'm not actually too enthusiastic about carrying out work weekends, and a while back was no different. I'd just left the wife and kids after a superb Sunday roast cooked by the wife, and I was on my way to assist a guy who had put the incorrect fuel in his Nissan. He was somewhere in Quarrington Hill hence it wasn't long before I got to him. As I pulled up at the vehicle and got busy draining he told me "Thank God! I had my thoughts on stuff and did not grasp that I've put diesel in my petrol vehicle. Is it possible I inflicted harm through running it?" I explained there shouldn't be any kind of problems and that also I would personally drain the wrong fuel right away. Obviously I drained the wrong fuel from the vehicle and filled it with the appropriate fuel, and thus one more happy client could carry on with their journey without any difficulty. He did not stop thanking me, and this is exactly what makes working on Sundays in County Durham that little better to me!
Vehicle Misfuel Quarrington Hill - Quarrington Hill Wrong Fuel in Car
This was certainly what we call the graveyard shift. It was roughly 3 in the morning and nobody was stirring. It was quite uneventful until now, and Mark and I were relaxing reading through several old newspapers. This was an unusual tranquil moment in County Durham. Actually it was indeed that peaceful that the instant my mobile ultimately rang I jumped with surprise! The person on the other end told me: "I concluded my overnight shift and stupidly poured the wrong fuel in the MINI by mistake". I asked him to tell us just where the car was and we left, arriving in Quarrington Hill only 30 minutes later. The incorrect fuel was cleaned from the engine and he said many thanks for showing up so quickly. While we were coming back home we found two women at the side of the street who appeared to have a puncture. Accordingly we stopped to change it, much to their elation.
