So, what's the issue with having AdBlue in a diesel tank? Because AdBlue is mostly deionised water, it is just like putting water in to your tank. Diesel and water do not mix whatsoever and trying to run a diesel car on water cannot work. Moreover, the urea is particularly corrosive to the fuel system pipes and seals and is more prone to crystallisation, damaging injectors and fuel filters.

If you poured AdBlue in the fuel tank remove it as quickly as possible. And most certainly never crank the motor - not even to shift it into a parking area. In cases where you did start the vehicle you will likely need to have the complete fuel system purged and fuel filters changed.
