AdBlue Contamination

Diesel and water do not mix in the slightest and attempting to run a diesel car on water is not going to work. Furthermore, the urea is fairly corrosive to fuel system pipes and seals and is susceptible to crystalising, blocking injectors and fuel filters.

Fuel contaminated with water

Fuel contaminated with water, whether it is unleaded petrol or diesel, is in many cases a significant situation to deal with in a motor vehicle - especially in advanced common-rail engines. Water in your diesel or petrol will often trigger idling difficulties, uneven running, excessive smoke and, if it is not taken care of properly, quite possibly blown injectors.
