Wrong Fuel in Car Horwich - Horwich Fuel Removal
This really was what is called the graveyard shift. It was roughly dawn and nobody was stirring. It had become rather uneventful up to now, and Ray and I were relaxing looking at some old magazines. That was a rare quiet moment in Greater Manchester. Actually it was in fact that relaxing that when my mobile eventually rang it made me start! The motorist explained: "I only just ended my evening shift and foolishly poured petrol in a diesel Volvo". We instructed him to tell us just where he was and we set off, reaching him in Horwich only an hour later. The incorrect fuel was extracted from the engine. He said many thanks for showing up so fast. As we were heading back home we found two women at the edge of the street who looked like they suffered a puncture. As a result we pulled up to help them change it, to their elation.
