AdBlue In Diesel

Diesel and water really don't mix in the slightest and trying to run a diesel car on water cannot work. Apart from this, the urea is highly corrosive to your fuel system hoses and seals and is prone to crystallisation, damaging injectors and filters.

In the case you put AdBlue in your fuel tank get it drained as quickly as possible. And obviously be careful not to start the engine - not even to relocate it into a parking bay. In the instance that you did start the car you would probably have to have the complete fuel system flushed and filters replaced.

Water contaminated fuel

Water contaminated fuel, irrespective of whether it is unleaded or diesel, is certainly an important situation to take care of in a car - specifically in modern common-rail engines.
